In May 2012 we decided on completely renovating our garden and driveway. We contacted David who visited us to discuss our plans, He was very thorough in his planning and preparation. His enthusiasm for the job was evident.
We have a 18m long drive, poor front garden, a rear garden that flooded easily so taking on such a job wasn’t easy work. Work started in June digging everything out during the wettest month of the year (Typical!) This was completed in fantastic time considering the weather. David turned out poor looking gaden into something we enjoy everyday. He laid 110m2 of Indian stone and stopped out flooding problem by laying a drainage system around the problem area, it now looks fantastic!
David quoted us a price and that was the price we paid. He is honest and extremely hard working. If ever we have a prroblem he is there to help out. We would reccomend him 100% as the job he does is first class
N + T Hensworth
Mr Hensworth wanted his garden off his semi-detached house to be paved in ‘Indian Stone’ just leaving a small area of lawn in the front garden. The main problem Mr Hensworth has was drainage in the back garden. Mr Hensworth was concerned as the rainwater was entering his garage. The amount of water was made worse by the fact that the neighbour’s garden was higher causing the rain water to also run into Mr Hensworths garden.
Mr Hensworth was also purchasing a new garage within his budget and wanted the new paving to include a full soak-away system around the back garden. This was achieved, applying a soak-away system along the side of the garage and along the back of the garden. An area of 110m sq was prepared and laid in 5 random sizes. Both door steps at the front and back were rebuilt in Indian stone for more foot space on entering the house. A Brindle edging brick was used at the front paving and on the face off the new door step to match.
The customer was very happy with the finished paving, the soak away system in the back garden worked connecting to the main house drain system.
